Selection Criteria for Outgoing Staff

Within the teaching programme for teaching mobility, a point scoring system was formed on the basis of faculties, graduate schools, departments, programmes considering the criteria as  “ staff not having benefited from the programme”, “country not having been visited”  with the intent of providing a balanced grant distribution. In order to ensure the balance among faculties, graduate schools, departments and programmes tables regarding the statistics demonstrating the utilization of Erasmus programme for every academic term are formed, and the nominee staff are scored on the grounds of statistical results; distribution of grant is executed from the highest to the lowest points within the academic units. For the non-teaching mobility, the distribution of the grant is executed at an equal rate among the administrative staff, specialists and research assistants. Foreign language scores attained from ÜDS /KPDS / YDS are taken into account for the non-teaching mobility in addition to the criteria mentioned for the staff in teaching mobility. Similarly, equal distribution among units is tried to be applied.

The quota provided for the university is distributed among the groups, which is based on the principle of assigning one staff to each group by setting out the highest point to the lowest. Both the nominees entitled to benefit from the programme and the substitutes are determined. The results of the selection and the scores are broadcasted on the website and submitted to the department coordinators. Therefore, it is ensured to be aware of any problem. Then, a table covering the necessary procedures which should be completed with the due dates is prepared and sent to the staff who are entitled to get benefit from the programme on the first list. The substitute staff who is on the following list will be replaced with the staff who fails to comply with the due dates.
